About International Studies
International Studies is an interdisciplinary major that draws program committee members from several different departments and creates a dynamic and diverse faculty community from which students can learn.
The major’s Program Committee has faculty representatives from the Departments of Anthropology and Sociology, Economics, History, and Languages and Cultures.
International Studies will provide you with a solid foundation in diverse subjects, including:
- Anthropology

- Foreign Language
- History
- Politics
- Sociology
You may also take major electives in various other areas, such as art history, communications, environmental studies, humanitarian affairs, philosophy, theology, and more.
