  • Ampersand

    The Ampersand is Fordham's oldest, completely student-run literary magazine. We hold weekly writing meetings and, once a semester, publish our magazine full of student work.

    Diario

    Our club produces a bilingual magazine print that spreads knowledge about our neighboring Bronx neighborhood. We stand to spread the wealth, provide voices to those who have none, and create a positive environment free from stereotypes and misinformation about the Bronx.

    Fordham Political Review

    The Fordham Political Review is a nonpartisan, student-run publication dedicated to covering domestic and international politics, economics, and culture. Our staff consists of columnists, staff writers, content editors, and copy editors, all of whom are Fordham undergraduate students across both campuses.

    Fordham Undergraduate Law Review

    The Undergraduate Law Review at Fordham University is a student-run, peer-reviewed scholarly journal focusing on pressing legal issues presented at the undergraduate level for the Fordham University and legal community.

    MODE Magazine

    MODE Magazine is Fordham's only fashion magazine. We provide opportunities for students to write, illustrate, model, style, do makeup, and design layouts for free, distributing magazines to the Fordham University community.

    Ram's Economic Digest

    We are an online economic newsletter club written by and for Fordham students.

    The Fordham Ram

    The Fordham Ram is the official journal of record of Fordham University and has been serving the Fordham community since 1918. We produce weekly issues that are published both online and in print.

  • College Democrats

    We are a political club at Fordham that operates on behalf of the Democratic Party. We talk about policy, support Democratic candidates, and engage in community activism.

    College Republicans

    We facilitate a space for politically conservative students on campus to engage with current events.

    The Political Union

    Fordham's multi-partisan club is dedicated to discourse on current political and international events.

  • b-Sides

    The Fordham B-Sides are the oldest coed a cappella group on campus. We write, practice, and perform arrangements of popular songs.

    Candela Latina

    Candela Latina aims to enrich the cultural experience at Fordham by offering Latino dance to its
    students. The club will perform at the end of each semester using Latin dances
    including but not limited to: salsa, bachata, cumbia, and tango.

    Dance Co-Op

    Dance Co-Op is a no-audition, all-level dance club focused on fun, creativity, and community. Members choreograph, perform, and bond while exploring different styles in a stress-free setting.

    Expressions Dance Alliance

    We are a student-run dance club that competes once a year and puts on a show for Fordham students and families every semester.

    Flava

    Fordham Flava celebrates hip-hop dance and welcomes all students to learn, express, and perform through practices, showcases, and open classes.

    Fordham Experimental Theatre

    Fordham Experimental Theatre seeks to provide opportunities for members to pitch and direct their own experimental theatre shows, participate in one of our four umbrella groups (Standup Comedy, Sketch Comedy, Improv, Spoken Word Poetry), or join in at one of our open mic nights. 

    Hot Notes

    The Hot Notes is a collaborative student ensemble that creates and performs vocal jazz. Through rehearsals and performances, members explore various styles and promote the power of jazz across the Fordham community.

    Jetes

    We are the ballet club on campus that performs every semester. We are student-run, enforce scheduling, handle outreach, and host open classes for the Fordham community.

    Mimes and Mummers

    The Mimes and Mummers produce two theatrical productions each semester, engaging the community.

    Satin Dolls

    The Fordham Satin Dolls is an all-female/femme vocal ensemble dedicated to the preservation and performance of self-arranged music both on and off campus. The group focuses on ensemble and solo singing in a concert setting through regular rehearsals and performances year-round.

    Sláinte: Fordham Irish Dance

    Sláinte is Fordham's only Irish dance team, comprised of dancers who have competed at the World and National levels. This team allows dancers to continue doing what they love at the collegiate level.

    The Ramblers

    We are Fordham's only all-male a cappella group.

    Theatrical Outreach Program (TOP)

    Founded in 2008, TOP produces four plays each year, including at least one classical work. With each production, we provide theater-based outreach in collaboration with our community partners, sharing the educational messages of our shows and offering theater workshops.

    University Choir

    The University Choir performs sacred and secular music from the choral tradition. With numerous performance opportunities, we represent the University at venues such as Carnegie Hall, St. Paul the Apostle, and the University Baccalaureate Ceremony.

    ASILI - The Black Student Alliance

    ASILI is the Black Student Alliance at the Rose Hill Campus. The organization assumes responsibility for the academic and cultural representation of Black students on campus.

    Bengali Students Association

    BSA provides a comfortable place for students to make new friends, get involved on campus, and enjoy Bengali culture.

    Caribbean and African Student Association

    CASA celebrates African and Caribbean cultures through events, education, and community, fostering pride and connection. It offers students a space to explore their heritage, build meaningful relationships, and grow a lasting network for life beyond college.

    El Grito

    A student-led organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Hispanic culture, heritage, and community on campus. The club fosters a supportive space for students to connect, learn, and embrace their identities.

    Fordham Falak

    Fordham Falak is the first and only South Asian fusion dance team at Rose Hill. The group practices several times a week and performs at events, showcasing various cultural backgrounds and dance styles.

    Ukrainian Society

    The Ukrainian Society at Fordham is a cultural club dedicated to cultivating a Ukrainian community across Fordham's campuses.

    Fordham University Philippine American Club

    Promotes Filipino culture throughout the Fordham community by sponsoring cultural, charitable, and social activities. The club seeks to build bridges through cross-cultural events.

    Fordham University South Asian Entity (F.U.S.E.)

    An all-inclusive South Asian organization dedicated to creating awareness of South Asian culture through arts, discussions, cultural activities, and group gatherings.

    Gaelic Society

    The Gaelic Society at Rose Hill aims to promote an awareness, understanding, and appreciation of Irish culture by means of events that explore and celebrate the social, cultural, political, and athletic aspects of Irish heritage.

    German Cultural Club

    The club exists to learn about and experience German history, culture, and traditions while providing a space to speak the language.

    Hellenic Society

    A cultural club that educates members about Hellenic history while connecting the Greek population at Fordham.

    Insieme Italian Cultural Society

    Italian Insieme seeks to preserve Italian culture within the Fordham community and encourages everyone to learn more about Italian culture and traditions.

    International Students Association

    Serves as a communal space for all international students on campus, including those holding student visas and those who have lived overseas.

    Jewish Student Organization

    Aims to make Jewish traditions accessible to students at the Rose Hill campus by providing Shabbat services, holiday celebrations, and other Jewish resources and opportunities.

    Korean Students Association

    Brings awareness to Korean culture, including traditions, language, history, and cuisine, while creating a sense of community for those with a Korean background or an interest in Korean culture.

    Wahda Middle Eastern Student Association

    Fordham MENA (Wahda) aims to bring together students of Middle Eastern and North African heritage, celebrate our culture, and educate others. This organization acts as a unique space for students to bond with each other and celebrate their heritage. 

    Muslim Students Association

    A religious club that brings together Muslims on campus and curates fun events to bridge engagement and faith.

    Polish American Cultural Exchange

    A community-driven club dedicated to celebrating and sharing Polish heritage, traditions, and culture through engaging events, language practice, and social gatherings.

    Puerto Rican Student Association

    A club for anyone interested in Puerto Rican culture. Members discuss topics relevant to the island in an inclusive environment while finding innovative ways to learn and have fun outside the classroom.

    PRIDE Alliance

    PRIDE supports the LGBTQ+ community at Fordham by offering a safe, affirming space for discussion, friendship, and fun. The club promotes inclusion through education and activism and welcomes allies of all identities.

    Sikh Student Association

    Broadens understanding and awareness of the Sikh religion, heritage, and values of selfless service within the Fordham community and the Bronx. Fosters dialogue on interfaith and youth issues while educating both Sikhs and non-Sikhs about Sikhism.

    Turkish Student Association

    Brings together students from Turkey to discuss current events and share Turkish culture. Students from all backgrounds are welcome to join.

    Vietnamese Student Association (VSA)

    A cultural and social organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Vietnamese heritage and traditions. Through engaging events, food, and collaborations, VSA fosters a welcoming space for students to connect, learn, and share Vietnamese culture.

  • Leadership Initiatives Committee

    The Leadership Initiatives Committee plans Leadership Weekend and the FUEL program, meeting weekly with an advisor. Members design engaging, student-focused programming rooted in Jesuit values like cura personalis and unity of heart and mind.

    The Campus Activities Board (CAB) collaborates with the Office for Student Involvement to provide diverse programming to the Fordham community. Composed of nine committees, CAB hosts both large and small events, with members supporting in event staffing, marketing, and brainstorming new ideas.

    Astronomy Club

    Explores various topics in astronomy through stargazing sessions, museum and planetarium trips, and educational presentations.

    Contemporary Science Fiction

    Fosters connections through board games, video games, and D&D. Members can try new games weekly and participate in game-themed events.

    Film Club

    Provides an inclusive and educational space for students passionate about movies to watch, discuss, and create films while exploring different aspects of cinema.

    Fordham Christian Fellowship (FCF)

    Creates a community where members worship God through Bible study, peer discussions, community involvement, and various methods of praise.

    Fordham University Emergency Medical Services

    A volunteer service club where members use their emergency medical skills to treat and transport Fordham students on and off campus.

    Historical Society

    The Historical Society at Fordham explores the university’s history and New York City’s past through research, site visits, and collaborations. Meetings include updates and a learning component, offering students a chance to engage with history outside the classroom.

    Humanitarian Student Union

    Meets weekly to discuss current humanitarian crises and organize volunteer opportunities for students.

    In The Margins

    A commuter-friendly book club that holds group discussions and book-related events, such as bookstore visits and bookmark-making sessions.

    Leading Women of Tomorrow

    Encourages women to pursue various career paths and provides resources to support their professional goals.

    Mock Trial

    Competes in the American Mock Trial Association’s annual litigation case. Introduces students to the legal process and helps develop skills in public speaking, argumentation, and presentation.

    Model UN

    Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations (UN) that aims to
    educate participants about current events, diplomacy and the UN agenda. Students
    role-play as delegates representing a country in a UN committee. Delegates research a
    country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate,
    consult and then develop solutions to world problems.

    Opera Club

    The purpose of the Opera Club is to create a musical community for music students,
    classical music lovers, and people interested in the technical aspect of operatic productions.
    The club also would like to provide an open outlook toward opera, its technicalities, and
    performance opportunities.

    The Rose Hill Soccer Fan Club aims to raise soccer awareness at Fordham through match watch-alongs, fantasy leagues, and FIFA contests. Members can discuss current news and participate in debates, working to enhance soccer’s reputation on campus.

    Spoon University

    Spoon University is a student-run organization that promotes food culture, wellness, and sustainability through events, recipes, and collaborations with local businesses. With a new focus on health and fitness, it aims to engage Fordham students, relieve stress, and inspire healthier lifestyles. Spoon also empowers students with skills in journalism, marketing, and event planning.

    Substance Abuse Fordham Educators (S.A.F.E.)

    Empowers and educates students on substance use while providing substance-free alternative events in NYC.

    Thomistic Institute

    Promotes the Catholic intellectual tradition at Fordham, with a special focus on the philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas.

    Women's Empowerment

    Meets regularly to discuss and process current events and topics related to women’s empowerment. Provides a safe space for open discussion and experience-sharing.

  • Billiards Club

    The Billiards Club brings together students to learn and enjoy billiards through events and lessons from pros. We also host outings to pool halls around New York, exploring the city and its diverse food.

    Chess Club

    Provides a space for students to play chess weekly against peers. Hosts both internal and intercollegiate tournaments.

    Chicks with Sticks Crochet Collective

    Hosts crochet workshops and craft nights, as well as organizes a donation project each semester.

    Fitness Club

    Helps students learn about various ways to improve health and athleticism.

    Men's Mental Health Union

    The Men’s Mental Health Union aims to challenge stigma by providing a safe space for men to discuss mental health, share struggles, and promote wellness. The club offers biweekly meetings, monthly outings, and guest speakers.

    Outdoors Club

    Provides opportunities for students to experience nature through various outdoor activities and outings.

    Quiz Bowl

    Creates a fun and stress-free environment for students to engage with trivia. Offers weekly meetings and larger trivia events.

    Running Club

    Offers a casual, supportive environment for students to improve fitness while building friendships through running.

    Ski and Snowboard Club

    Organizes ski trips to mountains across the Northeast. Hosts social events when skiing conditions are unfavorable to grow the campus ski community.

    St. Rose's Garden

    St. Rose's Garden provides Fordham students with a space to learn sustainable gardening, grow produce, and engage in environmental education. The garden promotes sustainability through composting, outreach, and community projects like park cleanups and farmers market trips. Weekly meetings and social events offer all students a chance to get involved.

    The Rambling House

    The Writing Club is open to all undergraduate students in good academic standing, requires 33% meeting attendance for active membership and voting privileges, and adheres to the University's non-discrimination and hazing policies.

    Visual Arts Club

    The Visual Arts Club provides students a safe space and art supplies to express their creativity through various forms of visual art while fostering a sense of community within the University.

    Walking Club

    Walking Club connects members to the Fordham and New York City communities through weekly group walks to lesser-known parks and trails, promoting mental and physical wellness, inclusivity, and exploration of the city.

    Spreads joy and improves the quality of life for children and families battling terminal illnesses by visiting hospitals, care centers, and fundraisers dressed as Disney characters to bring smiles to children.

    Autism Speaks U

    Organizes community events to raise awareness and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

    Best Buddies Chapter

    Creates one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development opportunities for people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Hosts events with a local Bronx community center.

    Bronx Oncology Living Daily

    Bronx Living Oncology Daily offers free wellness and support services to cancer patients at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center, providing students opportunities for volunteering, internships, screenings, outreach, and team-building activities.

    Catholic Relief Services at Fordham

    Catholic Relief Services at Fordham promotes human development, emergency relief, and global solidarity through campaigns, local service, and advocacy based on Catholic Social Teaching.

    Circle K

    A community service club dedicated to childhood development, assisting the food insecure, and supporting retired Jesuits in the Bronx and beyond. Part of the collegiate branch of Kiwanis International.

    Citizens Climate Lobby at Fordham

    Partners with the national CCL organization to train student climate advocates and lobby for climate policies.

    Fashion for Philanthropy

    Combines a passion for fashion with philanthropy, raising money for those in need. Maintains a consistent partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, embracing fashion’s ability to create social impact.

    Fordham Dance Marathon

    Leads a year-long, campus-wide effort to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. Engages the Fordham community through events dedicated to supporting B+ Heroes and their families.

    Project Sunshine

    Project Sunshine at Fordham provides recreational and educational programming to children facing medical challenges, offering a unique opportunity for students to volunteer, build relationships, and bring joy to young patients in hospitals.

    She's the First

    Raises money and awareness for girls' education in low-income countries as part of the global nonprofit organization She’s the First.
