FAFSA Tips/Common FAFSA Errors
- Select “5th yr./other undergraduate” as your grade level
- When asked if you will be working on a master’s or doctoral degree, you should answer “no”
- If you do not meet any independent criteria and are below the age of 24, you will need to provide parental information on the FAFSA
-
Federal, State, and University gift aid are only available to students in degree-granting programs, making non-matriculated students ineligible.
-
Students who have exhausted their federal loan eligibility can apply for a private education loan to help finance their education. Private education loans are subject to credit approval.
