Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship
The Gilman Scholarship provides up to $5000 for undergraduate students who receive a Federal Pell grant to study abroad.
The Gilman Scholarship provides $5000 for undergraduate students who are dependents of active or activated military personnel to study abroad.
The Churchill Scholarship provides funding for a year of Master’s study at the University of Cambridge, based at Churchill College. Scholars focus on STEM subjects and receive an opportunity for independent research (often leading to publications).
Critical Language Scholarship (CLS)
CLS offers summer language institutes in fourteen critical languages. The program includes intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences designed to promote rapid language gains.
DAAD RISE Professional Internship
Career-building internships in Germany in fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and engineering.
Funding to undertake graduate study in Germany.
The Fulbright program funds year-long academic and cultural international exchanges that allow students from a wide array of disciplines to teach English, conduct independent research or a creative project, and pursue graduate degrees.
The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace offers one-year fellowships to graduating seniors and individuals who have graduated during the past academic year. Gaither Junior Fellows work as research assistants to Carnegie’s senior scholars.
Gates Cambridge scholars receive funding to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.
Knight-Hennessy Scholars develops a community of future global leaders to address complex challenges through collaboration and innovation. Scholars will receive full funding to pursue graduate study at Stanford including JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MS, and PhD programs, as well as joint- and dual-degrees.
The Luce Scholars Program is a nationally competitive fellowship program designed to enhance the understanding of Asia among potential leaders in American society. The program provides stipends, language training, and individualized professional placement in Asia for 15-18 Luce Scholars each year, and welcomes applications from college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals in a variety of fields who have had limited exposure to Asia.
The Humanity in Action Fellowship is an intensive four-week educational program in Atlanta, Berlin, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Sarajevo, or Copenhagen, where they will investigate topics such as human rights, democracy, and structural injustice through workshops, local site visits, and discussions with local organization representatives. Fellows then return home to develop civil society initiatives in their own communities.
James Madison Graduate Fellowship
The James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation offers $24,000 James Madison Graduate Fellowships to individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level.
Marshall Scholarships finance study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. The scholarship is awarded for two years of graduate study, with the possibility of a third year extension.
George J. Mitchell Scholarship
Mitchell Scholarships support one academic year of postgraduate study in any discipline offered by institutions of higher learning in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in the natural and social sciences, as well as mathematics and engineering.
New York City Urban Fellows Program
The Urban Fellows Program is a nine-month fellowship that combines work in Mayoral offices and City agencies with volunteer service opportunities and a seminar series that explores current urban issues impacting public policy.
Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship
The Program provides graduate fellowships to qualified college seniors and college graduates committed to joining the Foreign Service. The fellowship helps finance two-year graduate programs, provides two summer internships, offers mentoring from a Foreign Service Officer, and provides other professional development activities.
Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellowship
The Rangel Graduate Fellowship supports students interested in joining the foreign service through two years of graduate study, internships, mentoring, and professional development activities.
Supports scholars from the US to study for two years at Oxford University. The Scholarship covers all educational costs for a two or three year program in any discipline or course of study available at Oxford University.
Provides students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and professional networks through a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing – one of China’s most prestigious universities.
Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
The Soros program invests in the graduate education of immigrants and children of immigrants who are poised to make significant contributions in their field. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support to fund graduate study at an accredited graduate program in the U.S.
