Intramural Sports Referee
Job Description/Duties: These positions are for applicants who have an interest in learning to referee Intramural Sports contests and events. Applicants must be willing to officiate 3 or more sports. Available sports to officiate include: basketball, volleyball, football and soccer. Employees are allowed to participate in all Intramural Sports. Participation in referee training sessions is mandatory. First year students and current Intramural participants are strongly encouraged to apply.
Days/Hours Needed: Applicants should be willing to work approximately 8-10 hours per week. Shifts are 2.75-5.25 hours long and are generally scheduled between 6:45pm-11:30pm, Mondays through Thursdays and 5:45pm-11pm on Sundays. Must be available for staff training sessions; date/time TBA.
Campus Locations/Buildings: Assigned shifts may be located in the Vincent T. Lombardi Memorial Center Field House, Coffey Field or Murphy Field.
Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and a flexible schedule desired. Previous experience officiating is a plus but is not required for employment. Must be available at least 4 full days between Sunday and Thursday or 7 of our available 9 shifts.

Intramural Sports Scorekeeper
Job Description/Duties: These positions are for applicants who have an interest in learning to scorekeep Intramural Sports contests and events. Applicants must be willing to scorekeep all Intramural Sports: basketball, football and soccer. Employees are allowed to participate in all Intramural Sports. Participation in official training sessions is mandatory. First year students and current Intramural participants are strongly encouraged to apply. Scorekeepers are expected to check in participants and maintan an accurate score and clock throughout the competition.
Days/Hours Needed: Applicants should be willing to work approximately 4-8 hours per week. Shifts are 2.75-5.25 hours long and are generally scheduled between 6:45pm-11:30pm, Mondays through Thursdays and 5:45pm-11pm on Sundays. Must be available for staff training sessions; date/time TBA.

Intramural and Club Sport Supervisor
Job Description/Duties: The primary role of the Intramural and Club Sport Supervisor is to supervise events and practices, and to assist in the overall operation of both programs. Supervisors will primarily be responsible for overseeing club sport members at events, and for supervising intrmaural officials and participants at nightly competitions.
General Expectations of the Position:
- Attendance at all staff meetings
- Provide a safe, secure environment for all scheduled events
- Maintain a current CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and be willing to provide first aid and emergency services, as needed
- Document all accidents/incidents that occur according to established protocols
- Discipline staff and any participants/club members/spectators who do not act in accordance with office and/or University policies
- Enforce all program rules and regulations
Intramural Program Responsibilities:
- Attend and assist with instruction at official training sessions, as assigned
- Supervise, mentor, evaluate, and provide training and feedback to Intramural Sports officials
- Assist with setup and breakdown of all Intramural events to which they are assigned
Club Sport Program Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance on the part of each club sport with all program policies and procedures through direct supervision and audits
- Manage and help to facilitate scheduled events and practices, ensuring that a safe atmosphere is maintained
- Assist with providing club sport members access to facilities and equipment at all club sport events
Days/Hours Needed: Applicants should be willing to work approximately 8-12 hours per week. Shifts are 3-5 hours long and are scheduled at irregular times, mostly late weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as some weekend event coverage. Schedule is largely dependent on Intramural and Club Sport event schedule.
Campus Locations/Buildings: Assigned shifts may be located in the Vincent T. Lombardi Memorial Center Field House, Coffey Field, Bahoshy Field, Hawthorne Tennis Courts, or Murphy Field.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least one semester of experience as an Intramural Sports employee in order to be eligible to apply. Candidates must be willing to attend all training sessions and be willing to become First Aid/CPR and AED certified.
Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and a flexible schedule desired. Ability to handle conflict proficiently and recognize violations of our policies.
