About Larry Mohr
Larry Mohr (American, 1921-2013) was an accomplished Bronx-born sculptor known for his large-scale bronze and aluminum artworks composed of welded and bolted I-beams. His works are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Georgia Museum of Art, Vassar College, and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum at Cornell University. Mohr served in World War II and retired from the reserves as a major.
