Program Dates: June 3 - August 9, 2024

Selection Process

Successful CSUR candidates will be matched with research mentors with similar research interests, based on the topics listed in our application. This year we anticipate that we will offer up to five (5) awards to qualified FORDHAM undergraduates interested in conducting independent research for 10 -weeks during the summer (June 3 - August 9, 2024) in one of the areas of focus.

Application deadline is March 11, 2024. Decisions will be made and students contacted by April 19, 2024.

Candidate must be a FORDHAM undergraduate who does not intend to graduate on or before May 31, 2024. 

How to Apply

First, download the electronic application, complete the questions, and email it to [email protected]. Additional submission details can be found in the application.  It is strongly preferred that applications be sent electronically. If unable to do so, please mail the application to the address provided on the PDF file. 

Individuals from groups that are traditionally underrepresented in STEM are strongly encouraged to apply.  Prior research experience is not required to be considered for the program.
