Expense Report Submission and Approval
Submission and Approval
Reconciliation Process
- At the beginning of each month, the cardholder should retrieve their card statement from JP Morgan PaymentNet. Cardholders can set up an automatic statement email notification from PaymentNet. Please see below how to set up statement email reminders.
- Your statement is a memo statement, you will not see posting of payments as the University now makes payments on a consolidated basis.
- The cardholder must reconcile each transaction within their Concur Expense Report.
- Ensure all transactions are accurate and accounted for.
- Report any discrepancies immediately to strategicsourcing@fordham.edu
- Log into Concur:
- Access the Concur expense reporting system using your credentials.
- Create a New Expense Report:
- Select the appropriate expense report template.
- Enter all required details for each transaction.
- Ensure a clear business reason is included for each expense.
- Attach Receipts:
- Upload scanned copies or photos of all receipts.
- Ensure receipts are clear and legible.
Expense reports must be completed by the 10th day of each month. Please note that cardholders do not have to wait until the Statement becomes available in order to begin the reconciliation process. This can occur as soon as transactions are imported into Concur.
Approval Process:
- Your report should be approved by your supervisor by the 15th of the month.
- Monitor your email for any requests for additional information or corrections.
