Vanessa G. Rotondo
Deputy Chief of Staff
Vanessa G. Rotondo, MSE has been serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff at Fordham University since August 2023. Prior to this role, Rotondo worked in the area of Mission Integration and Ministry, where she directed Fordham’s Global Outreach program within the Center for Community-Engaged Learning and previously led Ignatian Programs in Campus Ministry.
Rotondo is a proud double alumnus of Fordham University. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science with minors in Italian and Business Administration from Fordham College at Rose Hill, and later obtained a Master of Science in Education in Catholic Educational Leadership from the Graduate School of Education. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Religion, focusing her dissertation on liquid modern Ignatian pedagogy. She is also the proud advisor for Fordham’s Chapter of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society.
In addition to her administrative roles, Rotondo occasionally teaches courses in the Theology Department, including "Faith and Critical Reasoning" for first-year students and global immersive theology courses on the Synod on Synodality.
