🏛️Encuentro Project - GO! El Paso: Learn about the migrant journey through Mexico and discuss the inaccessibility of academic opportunities with local educational nonprofits. Learn from lawyers about the immigration system, nonprofits about economic responsibility, and artists about gentrification in migrant communities. More information can be found here.
📝The University of Pretoria and the Jesuit Institute of South Africa - GO! South Africa: Learn about the many diverse cultures and the history prior to, during, and after apartheid through firsthand accounts from our tour guide and community partners. Visit the Apartheid Museum, Freedom Park, Thandanani Community Center for Prevention and Integration, Suikerbekkies Kleuterskool (a pre-K school), and the KYP Community Center. Additionally, teach basic computer skills to Mamelodi residents. More information can be found here.
