IIHA Graduate Programs
Through multi-disciplinary coursework in subjects spanning the field of humanitarian affairs, the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs (IIHA) equips students with the tools required to respond thoughtfully and effectively in humanitarian crises. The IIHA combines the theoretical and practical aspects of humanitarian affairs to generate debate, initiate discourse, and encourage information sharing among participants and faculty.
We offer three graduate-level humanitarian educational opportunities:
- Master of Science in Humanitarian Studies (MSHS)
An academically rigorous program rooted in practical application to those interested in entering the humanitarian sector.
- Master of Arts in International Humanitarian Action (MIHA)
The MIHA is currently being re-designed as a fully online program.
An intensive executive program catering to mid-career humanitarian workers located globally.
- International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance (IDHA)
One-month residential diploma program that enhances specific humanitarian intervention skills for aid workers.
- Online and In-Person Humanitarian Training Courses
Each professional course is designed to prepare current and future aid workers with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively to humanitarian crises and disasters.
