Graduate Spotlight

Avery Aude, MSCY '24

Avery is also a double graduate of Fordham University. She received her B.S in computer science in May 2023, and she will be graduating with her Master's in Cybersecurity in May 2024. Avery had many interesting internship opportunities, including working with Amazon AWS as a Cloud Support Associate Intern and at Apple as a Security Software Engineer Intern. Meanwhile, Avery is finishing her Master's in Cybersecurity. She has obtained a full-time position as a Data Privacy Analyst for Delta Airlines.

Jakub Czaplicki, MSCY '24

Jakub is also a double graduate of Fordham University. As an accelerated student, he obtained his B.S. in computer science and his Master's in Cybersecurity, and he also completed the Fordham Advanced Certificate in Data Science for Cybersecurity. Jakub also receives the Cybercorps: Scholarship For Service, a prestigious NSF scholarship. After graduation, Jakub received a full-time offer from Department of Justice.

Meredith Coen, MSCY '23

Meredith received her B.S in Math and Computer Science from Fordham University and her Master in Science in Cybersecurity on December 2023. Meredith also receives the Cybercorps: Scholarship For Service, a prestigious NSF scholarship. After graduation, Meredith received a New York Cyber Command job as a Thread Manager engineer.

Gabriel Ferreira Araujo, MSCY '23

Originally from Brazil, Gabriel completed his B.S. in Software Engineering at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. He started his MSCY at Fordham University in the Fall of 2022, where he also worked as a graduate assistant for the Fordham Center for Cybersecurity. In the Summer of 2023, Gabriel worked as a summer intern for Amazon- AWS. After graduation, Gabriel received a job at the Tokio Marine Fellowship program, where he received a full-time offer as a Security Engineer.

Emin Yilmaz, MSCY '23

Emin is a double Fordham graduate. He obtained his B.A in International Political Economy in December 2022, and after that, he started his master's in Cybersecurity and graduated in December 2023. During the summer of 2023, Emin interned at Tesla as a NetOps Automation intern. After graduation, Emin received a full-time offer from Tesla for the same position.
