M.A. in Economics Learning Goals

Upon completion of our M.A. in Economics program students will:

  • Attain a solid foundation in modern economic theory and have the ability to understand the operation of markets and economies.
  • Posses mathematical and econometric skills to analyze economic questions and evaluate programs and policies.
  • Develop research questions — both empirical and theoretical — and analyze them.
  • Communicate economic content and arguments clearly and effectively in workplace settings in both written and verbal modalities.
