Caitlin Cawley is the Assistant Head of the Writing Program and an Advanced Lecturer of English specializing in 20th and 21st century American literature, composition and rhetoric, critical theory, and film and visual culture. Her scholarship has appeared in the Journal of the History of Ideas, Journal of American Studies, The Faulkner Journal, and The Oakland Review and received generous support from the U.S. Army Heritage Center and the National Endowment of the Humanities. At Fordham, Caitlin has co-directed the Graduate Film Group and the War Studies Collaborative, collaborated with the Center for Community Engaged Learning, and worked on a number of initiatives for students and faculty in the Writing Program.
