Lynne Beckenstein’s areas of interest include gender and sexuality studies, composition and rhetoric, disability studies, and critical race studies. Her scholarship on feminist representations of wellness and mental health in twentieth-century and contemporary American literature has been published in Women & Performance: a journal of feminist theory. At Fordham, she teaches Composition and Texts and Contexts.
