  • Michaël Latour teaches all levels of French language courses as well as French Language and Literature & French Civilization Culture and History. He also taught Conversation and Composition at Rose Hill and a course on Francophone African Literature and Human Rights at Lincoln Center. For 6 years, he served has language coordinator for the French program and he is now doing Freshman Advising. Before teaching at Fordham, Michaël worked at the Ministry of Education in Djibouti, East Africa. A fellow sponsored by both IFESH and USAID, he taught at the École Normale where he also gave a series of seminars whose aim was to train teacher trainers. One of his greatest achievements while in Djibouti was the establishment of a collaboration with the School of Fine Arts allowing students who train to become teachers at the Ecole Normale to enroll in a series of workshops in theater, music and visual arts.
