Visiting Fellows Program
Scholars who intend to be resident in New York City for over six weeks may seek an informal, non-stipendiary affiliation with the Center for Medieval Studies that allows them access to the Fordham University Library and campus facilities in order to consult with particular faculty and attend Center events. This status does not involve helping foreign scholars to get a U.S. visa.
How to Apply
To apply to be a Visiting Fellow, candidates should submit the following to the Director, Center for Medieval Studies, FMH 405B, Fordham University, Bronx, NY 10458 (fax 718-817-3987), [email protected], at least two months before their planned arrival:
- A letter of application and intent to be in residence in or in the immediate vicinity of New York City for the stated duration of the candidate's request for affiliation
- A succinct three- to four-page doubled-spaced description of the project or purpose for which the candidate is applying for status as a Fordham Visiting Fellow
