The M.A. thesis is the capstone experience of the M.A. degree in Medieval Studies. It is normally an expanded version of a paper that a student has already written for a graduate course, written under the supervision of a faculty mentor.
The thesis includes original research, is normally 35-75 double-spaced pages long, and follows the M.A. MVST thesis guidelines. Below are examples of the wide range of topics pursued by M.A. students.
