DOE National Laboratory Internships: The  Department of Energy (DOE) offers competitive internships at all of its national  laboratories, including Los Alamos, Brookhaven, Lawrence Livermore, and the SLAC. 

DAAD Rise: An internship for undergraduate students to work with research groups at universities and research institutions in Germany for a period of two to three months during the summer. RISE interns are matched with doctoral students whom they assist and who serve as their mentors.
