Clare Boothe Luce: for outstanding sophomore women who are majoring in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, or computer science, and who are not planning medical careers. The physics department has had five students receive this
award in the past five years.
Matteo Ricci Fellowship: Offered by the Office of Prestigious Fellowships for students preparing to apply for graduate fellowships. Provides funding for summer housing.
Campion Summer Scholarship: Offered by the Office of Prestigious Fellowships for students preparing to apply for graduate fellowships. Provides funding for summer housing plus a stipend.
Summer Research Internship: Offered by the Fordham College at Rose Hill Dean's Office for students to conduct research during the summer with a Fordham faculty member. Provides funding for summer housing plus a stipend.
External Undergraduate
Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship: "Established by Congress in 1986 to honor Senator Barry M. Goldwater, who served his country for 56 years as a soldier and statesman, including 30 years of service in the U.S. Senate. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide a continuing source of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians, and engineers by awarding scholarships to college students who intend to pursue careers in these fields." The Winston Churchill Scholarship: For one year of study in the pure sciences and engineering at Churchill College, Cambridge University.
The Gates Cambridge Fellowship: For graduate study in all fields at Cambridge University.
