Political Science Internships
A host of internships across New York City and beyond will allow students to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world issues and problems. In recent years, for example, students held internships at the Freedom House, International Rescue Committee, MSNBC, the Supreme Court, the United Nations, and the US House of Representatives. Political science majors interested in state politics might pursue an internship in New York State Assembly in Albany, NY.
Students are strongly advised to contact the Office of Career Services and search the Handshake to identify a variety of internship opportunities aligned with their career plans.
