About
Kara Harmon is a New York based Costume Designer whose work has been experienced across the country. Delivering costumes that are thoughtful and honest, she seeks to connect to the audience through compelling storytelling. Experience designing for plays, opera, film and musicals allows Kara to approach each project from her unique perspective.
Select Off-Broadway design credits are: Watch Night, Perelman PAC, Cullud Wattah, Public Theater; The Niceties, Manhattan Theatre Club and Dot, Vineyard Theatre. Her work has been seen regionally at The Alliance Theatre, The Goodman, Huntington Theatre, Santa Fe Opera, The Old Globe, Arizona Opera, Wolf Trap, Arena Stage, Steppenwolf, Oregon Shakespeare Festival and more.
