Donna Nicholls is the Program Manager of Communications and Producing. She is responsible for internal and external department communications, creating and implementing marketing strategies, and serving as project manager and line producer for MainStage performances and events.
Ms. Nicholls is a three-time Emmy award-winning producer. She was recognized for her work in lifestyle and news television, spending many years working for NBC News and the Today Show franchise. During the pandemic, she created and produced a medical podcast. More recently, she provided media relations support for Northwell Health.
As a supporter of philanthropic causes, Ms. Nicholls was the Communications Director for the Borough of Brooklyn Center for Arts and Technology. Prior to that she was a steadfast volunteer with the public relations team at the American Red Cross of Greater New York and conducted marketing and communications work for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Currently, Donna is a volunteer for Dress-for-Success and participates in community walks with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Ms. Nicholls is the proud mom of a son who attends Syracuse University.
