Biography:

Jean Baptiste Mvukiyehe is a Pallottine priest (member of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate) from Rwanda. He worked in interpersonal reconciliation, facilitating the healing of memory through Divine Mercy spirituality ministry for more than ten years. After his MTS in World Religions at the University of Notre Dame in May 2022 and an MA in Christian Spirituality (Creighton University, 2023), he served as the Chaplain at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, New Jersey until June 2023.

Jean Baptiste currently pursues his PhD in Theological and Social Ethics at Fordham University. He is interested in intersectional research engaging ethics in international affairs and contemporary Catholic social thought. Areas of focus include “shared identity,” ethnicity, conflict, and peacebuilding in the Great Lakes Region of Africa, as well as issues related to “otherness,” encounter, and migration today.
