Biography
Molly Crawford is a Ph.D. student in Systematic Theology. Her research focuses on the relationship between Christianity and Colonialism with her primary research theorizing eschatology and theories of history through the lens of decolonial and liberation theology. Her other interests include, Political Theology, colonial histories, and the pedagogy, mission, and labor practices of Jesuit Education.
As a product of alternative education and former high school teacher, Molly is interested in pedagogy and passionate about studying and employing innovative teaching methods. Outside of the classroom, she is committed to building solidarity amongst the workers of the world to create a more liberated society. She has presented her work on theology, education, and labor at the American Academy of Religion and American Catholic Historical Association, conferences.
In her down time, Molly enjoys exploring cities through long walks and relaxing with her partner and their two cats, Oliver and Quinn at their home in Inwood, NY.
