Alesia Moldavan - Bio

Dr. Alesia Moldavan is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education in the Division of Curriculum & Teaching in the Graduate School of Education. She is the Director of the Adolescence Mathematics Education program, where she advises graduate students and teaches various courses in traditional and online settings. Her research looks at ethnomathematics, equity-based teaching practices, and the use of digital technology in teacher preparation.
