The Humanity in Action Fellowship is an intensive four-week educational program in Atlanta, Berlin, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Sarajevo, or Copenhagen, where they will investigate topics such as human rights, democracy, and structural injustice through workshops, local site visits, and discussions with local organization representatives. Fellows then return home to develop civil society initiatives in their own communities.

The Soros program invests in the graduate education of 30 New Americans—immigrants and children of immigrants—who are poised to make significant contributions in their field. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support to fund graduate study at an accredited graduate program in the U.S.
