Parents Continue the Tradition of Giving
Parents are important members of the Fordham community. We know that your support helps our students to succeed, and we consider it a privilege to partner with you in their education.
Please consider supporting the University with a gift to the Fordham Parents Student Affairs Fund. In collaboration with the Division of Student Affairs, the Parents Student Affairs Fund supports student-facing initiatives and offices such as the Career Center, clubs and organizations, Counseling and Psychological Services, and more.; all things that will enhance your students' lives - now and after graduation.
Additionally, the Fordham Parents Student Affairs Fund supports digital access to The New York Times for all Fordham students, faculty, and staff. The digital subscription is free to the Fordham community and includes access to podcasts, augmented reality and multimedia features, varying newsletters, classroom discussion prompts, and historical archives, along with traditional 24/7 breaking news coverage. Students, faculty, and staff have access to millions of publications for research and daily updates, fortifying the resources available to them across the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses.
We encourage you to become familiar with the University’s programs and to share in the rich academic, social, spiritual, and cultural experiences our students enjoy. Visit our parent website for more information about visiting campus, family weekends, sending a care package, and more. We hope you will stay connected to Fordham and reach out to us with any questions.
Another way to get involved is to join the Parents' Leadership Council. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with parents from across the nation and the globe and weigh in on issues that are key to the University’s success.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the Parents’ Leadership Council, please contact Kathryn Mandalakis, Associate Director, Parent & Family Philanthropy at (646) 868-4225 or [email protected]
A Message from one of our Campus Partners - Annette McLaughlin, Director, Office of Career Services
The parent and family community provides the resources and support to connect our students with additional opportunities in the world of work. Parents and families support our office by providing mentorship, hiring students, speaking on panels and at career fairs, and also providing financial resources to fund positions and programs within our department. This is a tremendous benefit to the students and allows our department to continue to be a leader in career readiness. We are very grateful for the partnership with our Fordham parents.
