Academic Awards and Dean's List
Students at Fordham College at Rose Hill who excel within our rigorous curriculum are recognized for their performance throughout their academic career. These awards and recognitions include the Dean's List, degrees conferred with honors, and various departmental and program awards given to graduating seniors.
Dean's List
The FCRH Dean's List is a formal recognition of the academic achievement of undergraduate students in the college.
Through the academic year 2017 – 2018, the Dean’s List is composed of those sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have received letter grades for at least 24 Fordham credits during the preceding academic year and have achieved high scholastic standing with a quality point index of 3.600 or above.of 3.600 or above. First Honors is awarded to all students who obtain a quality point index of 3.900 or above. Second Honors is awarded to all students who obtain a quality point index of 3.800 to 3.899.
Beginning with the academic year 2018 – 2019, the Dean’s List will recognize students semester by semester. The Dean’s List for each semester will be composed of those students in each of the four classes who received letter grades for at least 12 Fordham credits during the preceding semester and have achieved high scholastic standing with a quality point index of 3.600 or above.
The Dean's List is recorded on the student's academic transcript, the student receives notification and a list of recipients is publicized in the College Newspaper.
