Education and Scholarship
We are committed to a learning and research environment in which all students, faculty, and staff create and experience cura personalis (care for each person and care for the whole person), and we strive to create the conditions by which all members of our community can be recognized and valued for their uniqueness, perspectives, and contributions to our collective learning.
- Develop strong diversity, equity, and inclusion business competencies and awareness of DEI career pursuits in all students through a DEI core curriculum and a diversity elective
- Develop a faculty diversity resource bank with access to current articles/readings, videos, case studies, and sample assignments
- Continue to work with banks and employers to enroll students in diversity job placement programs and internships
- Continue to disaggregate placement data on an annual basis to better report the differences within the various student demographics
- Work with GSB faculty and the Center for Community-Engaged-Learning to create more DEI opportunities in existing courses, increase the amount of community-engaged-learning hours to expose students to the Bronx community, and plan culturally immersive global outreach trips with business learning goals and outcomes
