Invest in Her: Financial Literacy and Leadership for Women

The Gabelli School of Business is pleased to offer a women in business program geared towards female high school students curious about the possibility of studying business and holding leadership positions in their future.  This program could put you significantly ahead and give you the confidence to succeed!

Program Benefits

  • Introduce fundamental financial literacy, including a basic understanding of financial markets, financial statements, and accounting principles.
  • Engage in collaborative work that will foster critical thinking and analytical skills through problem solving activities.
  • Expose participants to the concepts of professional behavior and executive presence, helping them cultivate confidence and poise in workplace settings.

Who should attend?

  • Any female high school student interested in learning more about being a woman in business related fields
  • Any female high school student curious about strengthening their leadership skills

Timeline

  • July 13-July 17 (Rose Hill Campus, Bronx, NY)
  • 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (12 p.m.-1 p.m. lunch break; students bring their own lunch)
  • The program is offered in person only

Registration

  • The Invest In Her program is now accepting applications for Summer 2026
  • Registration requests received before April 1 will receive priority
  • International students are not eligible to attend at this time.
  • The University does not provide on-campus housing options for this program

Program Fees

  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required when applying to the program.
  • The program cost is $1300 total ($1200 remaining after the $100 deposit).

Refund Policy

  • $100 deposit is non-refundable.
  • The Program Balance ($1200) is fully refundable prior to April 1.
  • The Program Balance is 80% refundable between April 1-April 30.
  • The Program Balance is non-refundable after May 1.
