L. Hunter Lovins is a pioneer and champion of sustainable and green businesses and a featured speaker at Fordham University. Lovins teaches a course at Fordham's Gabelli School of Business that makes the case that sustainability is good for the environment and for business. She is also an advisor to the Center for Humanistic Management at Gabelli.
She is the President and Founder of Natural Capitalism Solutions. Lovins has served as a consultant in economic development, sustainable agriculture, and policies related to climate, energy, water, and security for over 40 years. A co-author of more than a dozen books in the field of sustainable business, including Natural Capitalism, she has advised senior-level professionals, companies, and state and local agencies about regenerative practices that help to maximize profits—without exploiting or depleting resources.
Lovins is a founding professor of Sustainable Management at Bard MBA and a Fellow of the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit at Case Western University.
