Elizabeth Ostler
Adjunct Professor of Communications
Elizabeth Ostler is the assistant dean of student engagement at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, where she oversees the Responsible Business Leadership Certificate Program. Ostler also is the founder and storyteller-in-chief of Life’s Echoes. Offering workshops and opportunities for people to stand in their truth and tell their stories, she has helped individuals from a wide range of professions, such as executives, law students, academics, and artists, hone their messages and connect with their audience. Ostler is a theater-maker, specializing in directing and puppetry. In addition, she is editor-in-chief and contributing writer at The LDS Women’s Project. Ostler holds an M.F.A. in Theater Directing from Brooklyn College, a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, and a Ph.D. in Contemporary Learning and Interdisciplinary Studies from Fordham University. Her research focuses on cultural master narratives and belonging.
