Kenneth Muckenhaupt
Adjunct Professor of Information, Technology and Operations
Professor Kenneth Muckenhaupt is a retired IBM executive consultant for financial services sector clients. Muckenhaupt has over 38 years of experience in IBM hardware and software development. During his IBM career, he developed microcode for IBM mainframe processors, managed a mainframe microcode development department, and worked in various software engineering assignments.
In his financial services sector consulting role, he provided thought leadership for the integration of IBM hardware and middleware technologies for the development of complex, multiplatform banking and financial market solutions.
Muckenhaupt remains active during his retirement as an adjunct professor at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, where he teaches courses in information systems and modern operations, and supply chain management.
Outside of Fordham, Muckenhaupt serves as a part-time emergency medical technician at Mobile Life Support Services, and a lab instructor for the Emergency Medical Services education program at Dutchess Community College. He and his wife, Judith, reside in Poughkeepsie, New York.
