Adjunct Professor of Accounting
Timothy P. Hedley is an executive-in-residence at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. Hedley is responsible for the School’s ESG literacy programs, and he teaches courses in sustainability reporting, business risks in a digital global economy, forensic accounting, managerial accounting, accounting fundamentals, and business ethics.
Hedley is a retired partner at a Big Four accounting firm, where he served as the global lead partner for fraud risk management services. As a consultant, Hedley helps clients across a broad range of industries to prevent, detect, and respond to governance and integrity issues. He is also the co-author of The New Era of Regulatory Enforcement: A Comprehensive Guide for Raising the Bar to Manage Risk and Managing the Risk of Fraud and Misconduct: Meeting the Challenges of a Global, Regulated and Digital Environment.
Hedley is chair of the Connecticut Society of CPAs and founding chair of its ESG Committee. In addition, he serves on the board of the Center for Professional Accounting Practices. A Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner, Hedley also is Certified in Financial Forensics. He holds a B.B.A in accounting from Sienna College and an M.S. in accounting and a Ph.D. in public management (accounting and control) from the University at Albany, SUNY.
