Rosa Romeo

Rosa Romeo is an associate clinical professor of accounting and taxation at the Gabelli School of Business. Prior, she served in Fordham's undergraduate Gabelli School of Business as director of undergraduate accounting and director of dual-degree programs while teaching as an adjunct professor of accounting. From 2007 to 2010, she also was the school's director of external and corporate relations.

Professor Romeo has developed and taught courses at the undergraduate level, including Assurance & Auditing and Advanced Assurance & Auditing, in addition to teaching in Fordham's graduate-level Deming Program from 2004 to 2008.

In the past, Professor Romeo has been the faculty advisor for Beta Alpha Psi, Fashion for Philanthropy, ALPFA and the Finance Society. She aided in the development and execution of Gabelli's Finance Scholars program for select high-achieving juniors and seniors. She is now the advisor for Smart Woman Securities and is the campus liaison for New York State Society of CPAs.

Before coming to Fordham as an instructor and administrator, Professor Romeo was an audit manager at PwC in its investment management group, specializing in alternative investments. She spent five years with the firm.

Professor Romeo is a certified public accountant in New York, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of CPAs, American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants, Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma. She is a multiple-time recipient of Who's Who Among American Teachers honors and of the Gabelli School's Adjunct of the Year Award.

Professor Romeo received her BS in public accounting from the Gabelli School of Business and her M.B.A., with a concentration in corporate finance, from Fordham's Graduate School of Business Administration.
