There are many opportunities for Gabelli School accounting students to connect with world-class faculty, earn credentials, and engage a vast network of industry contacts.
Gabelli School of Business Seniors have the opportunity to enroll in a unique program that combines practical experience and education during their final semester as an undergraduate. Our accounting majors will be provided the ability to combine client-facing work experience at one of the leading global assurance, tax and consulting service firms with an innovative educational experience with renowned Gabelli School accounting and tax faculty.

Accounting Scholars Program
The Accounting Scholars Program is an honors program designed to prepare highly motivated Gabelli School juniors and seniors for careers as professionals in accounting and accounting related fields. The core element of the program is the opportunity to contribute to either a business focused research project with a Gabelli School faculty member or a client initiative with a distinguished alumnus or other prominent members of the profession. Scholars will also be given preference if they wish to participate in the Winternship Program or summer internships as upperclassmen. Additionally, this group of ambitious students will be offered unique experiences to network with professionals, mentor Gabelli School underclassmen, and attend distinctively tailored workshops promoting personal and professional development.
GRI Training
The GRI Professional Certification Program is designed to enhance the knowledge, expertise, and skills of sustainability professionals in implementing the GRI Standards to improve the quality of sustainability reporting. Accessible via the GRI Academy or a Certified Training Partner (CTP), professionals complete five courses that cover the fundamentals of GRI reporting in preparation for a final certification exam.
Gabelli School grad students are offered a scholarship opportunity to participate in a Big Four GRI training program each year.

Certificate Programs
The MS in Professional Accounting program offers two certificates to Gabelli School graduate students as part of their degree requirements – one of which is STEM designated,
