Anastasia Economos
Anastasia Economos is a partner within Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice, where she advises global organizations on the impact of regulatory and transformational change on the accounting and financial reporting function and related systems and processes.
In her role as the Americas accounting change leader for leases, Economos coordinates advisory, assurance, and tax partners and professionals in the development and delivery of innovative services to assist companies in adopting and reporting under the new leases standards. She also leads knowledge-sharing initiatives across a network of partners serving retail and consumer-products clients with a focus on addressing issues resulting from regulatory changes, transactions such as acquisitions, IPOs, and spin-offs, and other organizational changes.
Economos is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She received a B.S. in accounting and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University. She is a member of the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) board of governors and a past member of the CEW Foundation board. She is also a member of the St. Michael’s Home board of trustees and serves on the advisory council of the Orthodox Christian Studies Center of Fordham University.
