Jean P. Wynn
Jean P. Wynn, MC ’80
Jean P. Wynn is a managing director and the lead executive for the corporate banking and public finance market segment at the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon). In this role, she is responsible for strategically aligning the company’s solutions and services with the business needs and objectives of key clients within this market segment.
Prior to her current role, Wynn served as chief administrative officer for the firm’s president. She oversaw the company’s Global Innovation Program, as well as the management of several business development functions of the global client management and regional area management teams. Previously, she served in a similar capacity for the company’s financial markets and treasury services sector, where she led cross-selling initiatives, communications, talent development, and innovation.
Wynn joined BNY Mellon in 1980 as a management trainee in commercial banking. She has held a variety of business development and management roles within the company’s international banking sector, covering clients in Asia Pacific and Europe, while also serving on the international risk committee. She went on to lead the global account management and structured sales teams within BNY Mellon’s Corporate Trust business.
Wynn is a member of the company’s senior leadership team and the Diversity and Inclusion Council. She is co-founder of the Women’s Wall Street Alliance, and co-chaired BNY Mellon’s Women’s Initiatives Network from 2013 to 2016. She served as vice president of the alumnae board of Marymount College from 2011 to 2017 and is a member of the President’s Council of Fordham University.
Born on Long Island, New York, Wynn lived in Tokyo for four years of her childhood, at which time she attended the Sacred Heart International School in Hiroo. She graduated summa cum laude from Marymount College. She resides in Huntington, Long Island, with her husband and daughter.
