Kathleen Adams is the co-owner of Angel of Harlem and a vice president of strategy at the Lippe Taylor Group. Additionally, she is the co-founder of Momma’s Hip Hop Kitchen. Adams serves on the board of directors of the New York Junior League and is co-chair of the associate board for the Harlem School of the Arts. She graduated from Fordham with a dual degree in women’s studies and urban studies with a minor in environmental policy, as well as a master’s degree in urban studies. Jordan Hunter, FCLC ’12, Director of Events, La Pecora Bianca
Jordan Hunter is a proud Fordham graduate, whose career path took many unexpected turns before landing in restaurants. After completing a double major in communications and Spanish language, her first jobs included acting, modeling, and working as a hostess in Times Square. Hunter’s passion for food, wine, and hospitality led her into restaurant management, where she worked for such luxury brands as Giorgio Armani and Michelin-starred chef Michael White. She holds a sommelier certification from the Sommelier Society of America. She currently serves as director of events for La Pecora Bianca, an Italian restaurant group with eight locations in Manhattan.
Elisa Lyew, MC '07, Owner, Elisa's Love Bites
Born and raised in Panama, Elisa Lyew is the owner of Elisa's Love Bites, a gluten-free bakery focused on innovative desserts made with nutritious ingredients. She previously worked as a pastry chef at several renowned NYC restaurants. Lyew also works as a culinary prop stylist for television and movies, including Madam Secretary (CBS), Evil (Paramount+), Sharper (AppleTV+), Three Women (Showtime/Starz), and Hondo (Amazon Studios). She advocates for immigrant children’s rights and fair labor legislation in the restaurant industry as well. Lyew graduated from Marymount College in 2007 with a dual bachelor of arts degree in theatre and media.
Gabriella Macari, GABELLI '09, Director of Operations, Macari Vineyards
Gabriella Macari is the director of operations for Macari Vineyards, managing education, distribution, and marketing and assisting with cellar and vineyard activities. She earned a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in marketing, a minor in English, and a specialization in international business from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. Macari is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, holds the WSET Diploma, and completed the Wine Executive Program at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. She passed the master of wine exam in July 2022 and is currently working to complete the credential.
