Jolie Ann Calella, FCLC, '91, Senior Vice President, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, 2017 Pioneering Women in Philanthropy

Jolie has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the top female wealth advisors since 2019. Raised by a widowed mother in New York City, she learned early the value of education, financial literacy, and self-reliance. Jolie’s career began as a network page at Capital Cities/ABC and led to additional roles at ABC and Walt Disney Co. After practicing law in NYC from 1995-2003, she found her true passion as a financial advisor in 2004.

Jolie earned her CFP® designation in 2012 and QPFC designation in 2022. She co-founded the HER Way Steering Committee at Morgan Stanley in 2016 and joined the Morgan Stanley Women in Wealth, LIFT Committee in 2022. Both organizations focus on female financial education and empowerment. Jolie’s love for life extends to travel, yoga, and quality time with friends, family, and her beloved rescue dog, Bruno.

Geeta Kapadia, CFA, CIO, Fordham University

Geeta Kapadia is the chief investment officer of Fordham University, where she manages the endowment of $1 billion in assets and oversees all aspects of the portfolio management process. Prior to joining Fordham in August 2022, she was the associate treasurer of investments at Yale New Haven Health System, where she led the team responsible for managing over $5 billion in system assets. Prior to joining Yale New Haven in 2009, she was a senior consultant at Mercer in London and in Edinburgh, and she served as the head of marketing at Capital Metrics in Pune, India. She earned her B.A. from the University of Chicago and her M.S. in financial markets from Illinois Institute of Technology. She is a CFA charterholder and serves as board president of Chester County Family Academy.

Jennefer Witter, FCRH ’83, CEO and Founder, The Boreland Group Inc.

Jennefer Witter is the CEO and founder of The Boreland Group Inc, a public relations agency. The company focuses on women-led and new majority-owned businesses and was selected by TheStreet.com as one of five national, Black owned businesses “making a buzz.” Jennefer was named one of the nation’s “10 most successful Black CEOs and entrepreneurs” by MadameNoire Magazine, and her company was recognized as one of 12 Black-owned businesses to be “loved by its community and beyond” by ThriveGlobal.

Jennefer has presented at a variety of prestigious institutions including at TedX Albany, Oscar Health, Sullivan & Cromwell, the Pentagon, the Brookings Institution, and multiple universities. She is a signed speaker with two speaker bureaus.

Jennefer is the author of The Little Book of Big PR: 100+ Quick Tips to Get Your Small Business Noticed, (AMACOM/HarperCollins, 2014). She has appeared in The Wall Street Journal as well as on Bloomberg Radio, Fox D.C., and WJLA. Her articles have appeared in Forbes and Business Insider.

Jean Wynn Shea, MC ’80, PAR, Retired Managing Director, Head of Corporate Banking, BNY Mellon

Jean Wynn Shea retired as managing director, head of corporate banking at BNY Mellon in March 2020. She led a global team focused on business development for corporate, federal, and state government clients. Previously, Jean held executive roles driving strategy, innovation, and efficiency across multiple business lines. Reporting directly to the president of BNY Mellon, she improved sales, compliance, talent, and organizational design. She also spearheaded a company-wide innovation initiative. 

Jean has extensive experience in relationship management, particularly in the Asia Pacific region, and was a member of the International Credit Committee. A leader in diversity and inclusion, she co-founded BNY Mellon’s Women’s Initiative Network and the Wall Street Women’s Alliance. Recognized by the Financial Times in 2017 as a HERo for advancing women’s leadership, Jean remains active in mentoring and financial literacy. Jean earned her degree from Marymount College and is a proud Fordham parent. She also serves on Fordham University’s President’s Council and Alumni Association Board.
