Workshops & Professional Development
The Hagin Center is associated with the Division of Psychological and Educational Services of the Graduate School of Education at Fordham University, and serves as a training facility for students in the school psychology and counseling psychology programs. The Hagin Center has three main functions:
- The Hagin Center offers various workshops, including the New York state mandated workshops and CE workshops, to students and professionals.
- Hagin Center staff provide comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations, as well as counseling services, to clients in the community.
- The Hagin Center lends psychometric test kits and related materials or various psychological assessments to students and other individuals affiliated with the University.
New York State Mandated Workshops
The Hagin Center is currently offering three New York state mandated workshops: Dignity for All Students Act (DASA), Child Abuse Identification and Reporting (CAIR), and Schools Against Violence Education (SAVE). These workshops are held twice each semester, and you do not need to be a Fordham GSE student to attend them. Continuing Education Workshops
The Fordham University Graduate School of Education is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education (CE) credits for licensed providers.
