Jeffrey Karaban, LCSW is a graduate of Fordham University School of Social Service and the Training and Research Institute for Self Psychology. He is a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist in private practice in Columbus Circle. In a practice spanning over twenty years he has developed specialties in working with individuals struggling with sexual and gender identity, compulsive behavior and work with visual and performing artists. He also works with people with addictions and eating disorders and with couples.
He is an adjunct professor at Fordham University, School of Social Service, as well as at the Columbia University Graduate School of Social Work, specializing in clinical courses. He is a founding member of Mosaic, an organization devoted to the study of theoretical psychological orientations into a post-modern integrative sensibility. He worked for 16 years at the New York
