Department of Transportation
No matter where you’re going, the Department of University Transportation (DUT) can help you get there!
Our dedicated administrators and student workers operate a fleet of vehicles that take Fordham community members between campuses, local airports, and beyond.
Safety First, Courtesy a Close Second
Whether traveling between campuses for class, going home via the airport before a holiday, or just looking to experience the scene in another borough, the Ram Van is the safest and most convenient way to get there.
Student organizations, including clubs and athletic teams, can also charter Ram Vans for travel to approved events.
A one-way ticket costs $3.50, but students with classes at two campuses, unpaid and for-credit internships, or participating in certain clubs may be eligible to ride the van for free. Tickets can be purchased online or in our office at Rose Hill. Discount books are available for purchase which includes 12 tickets for the price of 10. All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued. Boarding begins ten minutes before departure time. If you have a reservation but are not present to board the van one minute after the scheduled van time, your reservation will be forfeited.
Please remember to take all items with you when deboarding the van. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
The Ram Van is the most popular way for students to travel, so we recommend reserving your seat online 48 hours in advance! For information and assistance, call our office at 718-817-4346.
