Calder Center Facilities

The current station encompasses 13 buildings used for laboratory and office space, classroom and student study areas, and residences.  Research and educational programs are contained in six principal buildings:

• Alan J. McCarthy Building (Wehr, and Frank Labs)
• Lakeside Lodge
• Two Greenhouses
• Calder Hall (Lewis, Munshi-South, Pollen, and Teaching Labs)
• Routh House (Vector Ecology Lab).

The field station has state-of-the-art equipment, research library, greenhouses, and housing in close proximity to organisms in the field. These facilities are available for research and educational programs for students, faculty, and visiting scientists.
