Construction Methods and Materials

Learn the core concepts and specialized building materials and construction systems used in the manufacture of commercial real estate assets. This program provides practical knowledge to support the successful execution of projects and advancement in the field. Courses will cover construction drawings, building core and shell methods and materials, building interiors methods and materials, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

The Professional Certificate in Construction Methods and Materials credential is issued to students who successfully complete four courses. Students may enroll in individual courses at the Fordham Real Estate Institute without pursuing a certificate.
