POSITION: DevOps Application and System Security Intern
SUPERVISOR: Director, Application and System Security
SUMMARY: The DevOps division of Information Technology seeks a dynamic self-starter to assist in building training videos of security products, documentation, and data analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a full-time Fordham student in good academic standing
- Computer Science or Information Systems majors are preferred, but not required
- Reliable quick learner who can work with minimal supervision
- Must uphold, enforce, and abide by all university policies
- Ability to work in collaboration with diverse teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, video editing tools, and scripting languages
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with internal teams to obtain understanding of software products and documentation requirements
- Assist with security applications/tools including but not limited to web application scanning, web application firewall, MFA, privilege access management etc.
- Help developers reproduce and debug issues from a student experience standpoint
- Produce documentation, user interface text, online help, and tutorials pertaining to security-related products
- Analyze existing and potential content for rewrite if necessary
- Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- An effective communicator with strong writing skills
- Self-Motivated, quick learner, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines

COMPENSATION: $18.00 per hour
