RamCentral is a comprehensive app designed to streamline student access to essential campus resources, including Academic Advising, Class Deans, Career Advising, and other student services. It provides a centralized platform for scheduling appointments, receiving guidance, and engaging with the campus community, all through a user-friendly interface accessible on multiple devices. With strong security measures and compliance with privacy regulations, RamCentral enhances the student experience by simplifying interactions with key campus resources and fostering a more connected and supportive academic environment.

Permissions

Camera Our app requires access to your device's camera to allow you to take pictures of documents. This feature enables you to capture and upload images for assistance from various departments, enhancing our ability to support and provide services to you effectively.

Calendar Our app requires access to your calendar to help you manage appointments and tasks effectively. With this permission, you can schedule appointments directly within the app and receive task assignments with due dates. This integration is designed to organize your schedule and ensure you never miss an important deadline. Your calendar data is used solely to improve your scheduling experience within the app.

Information Collection and Use

What personal, non-personal, and sensitive information is collected? The app only collects information that you voluntarily provide for academic advising, spiritual counseling, or student group interests. We may also collect non-personally identifiable information about your use of the app, such as:

  • Device type and operating system
  • IP address
  • Username
  • App usage data (pages visited, features used)

How is data collected? Non-personal information may be collected automatically through your use of the app.

How is the collected information used? We use the information collected to provide context for advisers or student interest group managers. Additionally, we use this data to improve the app’s functionality, enhance your user experience, and generate anonymized usage statistics.

  • University staff you schedule appointments with or contact for help.
  • The platform provider and application administrators who assist us in hosting and administering the app under strict contractual obligations to protect all user information.

Children’s Privacy Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. As such, there are no parental consent mechanisms in place.
