David M. Jaffe

Adjunct Professor of Law

David M. Jaffe is a Director in Barclays’ Regulatory Relations Group.  Previously, he was Director of Regulatory Examinations and Inquiries at Deutsche Bank Securities. 

For nine years, he was Regional Chief Counsel of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s (FINRA) New York Regional Office and previously was a trial attorney with the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).  Prior to his time at the CFTC, 

Mr. Jaffe was a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York and was in private practice. Mr. Jaffe graduated cum laude from St. John’s University and received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law.
