Lisa M. Ferri is a partner at Mayer Brown LLP based in the New York office. As a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, Lisa focuses her practice on patent and other complex intellectual property litigation including trademark, unfair competition, trade secret and copyright in a variety of businesses and technologies including pharmaceutical (Hatch-Waxman), consumer health care and home products, electronics, computer software, financial services, entertainment and e-commerce.
Lisa has acted as trial counsel on behalf of clients in a number of federal district courts. In addition, she has significant experience before appellate courts, in particular, the Federal Circuit, as well as, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Lisa also counsels clients on the protection, enforcement and licensing of intellectual property rights.
Lisa has written and spoken frequently on intellectual property issues. While in law school, Lisa served as associate editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. Upon graduation, she served as law clerk to Chief Judge Edward D. Re, U.S. Court of International Trade, who also sat by designation on a number of courts of appeal including the Federal Circuit.
